The End GBVF Collective has taken on the challenge of implementing the GBVF National Strategic Plan (NSP) to combat gender-based violence in South Africa. Great work has been done to operationalise the NSP. The key now is to turn this into action at every level, especially at the local level: in municipalities, district courts, schools, police stations, community-based organisations, and businesses.

Join End GBVF Collective

Join us on the frontline as we walk the talk needed to ensure a safer tomorrow for womxn, children and LGBTQIA+ individuals. The End GBVF Collective is a dedicated network of volunteers committed to ending gender-based violence and femicide in South Africa.

The Collective’s work consists of bi-weekly Pillar meetings and monthly collaborative sessions. It is structured around the six key areas, known as Pillars, identified in the NSP. Choose a Pillar to lend your expertise, and together, let’s make a difference.

Join 100-Day Challenges

Ready to make a tangible impact in the fight against gender-based violence and femicide? Join us in the 100-Day Challenges—an intensive programme designed to drive change in 100 days.

100-Day Challenges are structured programmes designed to ignite intense collaboration, foster innovation, and drive fast execution among frontline teams and leaders. Teams start this journey by setting unreasonable 100-Day Goals and developing innovative strategies to achieve them. Centred around local action, these challenges underscore the power of communities to effectively address pressing issues. Take action, learn collectively, and progress towards shared objectives.

Both individuals and organisations, such as schools, community-based organisations, government departments, municipalities, courts, universities, churches, or private companies, can participate in the annual 100-Day Challenges. Organisations can apply to become Amplifiers, which grants them access to training, support, and the opportunity to help organise the 100-Day Challenges.
